Sunn (2022)

300 cm x 200 cm x 200 cm, solar panel, sensor & led

Sunn is an interactive installation represents a speculative future scenario. It is made from sustainably built solar panels, movement sensors and light, and depicts the correlation between neoliberal, capitalist structures, our artificial lifestyle and the sun. Through this installation, I aimed to highlight the continuing inaction from powerful institutions to address the climate crisis. I also wanted to draw attention to people’s lack of connection with the outdoors, and  particularly the sun, due to our working culture. With my team, I created the solar panels in collaboration with an open-source startup from Delft, the Netherlands.
